Pastor's Welcome
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Thanks for visiting the website of St. Paul’s UCC in Rio Rancho. My name is Lynne Hinton and I have been the pastor of St. Paul’s since August, 2007. In my short time here, I have found a congregation that is warm and loving and looking to grow both spiritually and in numbers. I am excited about the possibilities of ministry at St. Paul’s and invite you to join us if you are looking for a spiritual home, and if you would like to be a part of a family that supports, cares for, and challenges each other. We have an excellent music program and offer provocative, thoughtful adult education opportunities. We are in prayerful conversation about becoming a retreat site, offering retreats and personal growth workshops that will create excitement for spiritual development.
You will be welcomed at St. Paul’s. You will be invited to be a part of our family. We will love you and we will pray for you. We understand that we are all trying to make our way in life the best we can. At St. Paul’s we have decided that the best way is together, as community, as family. On behalf of the congregation, I wish to extend to you our warmest welcome to St. Paul’s. Ours is a congregation that seeks to be a voice of love, compassion and respect; a congregation that is committed to being inclusive, to being involved in matters of peace and justice and to recognizing the need to maintain a warm intimate community of faith. I feel very fortunate to have discovered this community, to be a participant in its life and journey. I hope that you will not only visit us here on the website, but will plan to visit with us in person, joining us in our Sunday morning worship. Our doors are open to all.
