Public Welcome!
An Adult Bible Study: A member-led Bible Study meets each Sunday at 9:00 AM at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Usually, the lectionary passage heard from the pulpit becomes the topic for weekly Bible study. Relevant study materials are gathered from various sources, including the Internet. It is a wonderful opportunity to read together, discuss, and share our insights and our questions. Everyone is welcome. Each week is an independent study, so if consistent attendance is not possible, please come whenever demands on your life will allow. All points of view and religious beliefs are welcome here
Sunday Church School is offered each Sunday. A multi-age Sunday Church School instruction is offered for children. Children begin Sunday Service with their parents in the Sanctuary, share a children’s sermon with the pastor and are then dismissed to the Sunday Church School classroom. Instruction includes many teaching/learning techniques including reading Bible stories, hands-on arts and crafts, and age-appropriate discussion. Regular attendance is encouraged, but each Sunday is a discreet, singular experience and all children are always welcome!
St. Paul’s Library is undergoing re-organization. To achieve relevancy and eliminate redundancy St. Paul’s current library holdings are undergoing a thorough review. The goal is to have a library: (1) that contains a variety of media formats (print, DVD, CD, etc.), (2) contains the works of current theological thinkers, scholars and research, (3) that is a rich resource for St. Paul’s congregation (4) that is cataloged and inviting for members of the congregation to check out and return library holdings.
Sign Language Instruction. St. Paul’s United Church of Christ is offering a class in SIGN LANGUAGE. Signed Exact English will be taught. An objective, beyond learning sign language, will be to enhance St. Paul’s worship service by signing hymns. Instruction is given each Thursday beginning at 5:00 PM. Please call St. Paul’s United Church of Christ at 898-7026 for more information.
